Christian Hannibal Jensen

I grew up in Northern Jutland and am 37 years old. I am trained as an Occupational Therapist with many years of professional experience in the social and disability sector. Today, I work as a professional manager in a home care unit and also have a solid leadership background consisting of six diploma-level courses in management.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children and adults with complex disabilities in both service provision and authority-related roles, including as a case-handling therapist within assistive technology services. This has given me in-depth knowledge of rehabilitation, functional assessment, assistive device solutions, and the planning of holistic interventions involving both the child and the family.

My professional foundation is evidence-based practice and sustainable rehabilitative solutions that support the child’s functional abilities and family resources. I have extensive experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, coordination of interventions, and quality assurance of professional processes.
My motivation for co-founding the association is to apply my professional and managerial expertise to develop and implement targeted rehabilitative interventions for children with disabilities in Thailand. With a special focus on capacity building, family support, and locally anchored solutions, I work to ensure that the initiative creates lasting value and improved living conditions for the children and their families.
